LANDSCAPING

In the original work file I created a smoke simulation to the ship, however due to the lack of hardware capability, I sent the file to SheepIt Renderfarm to render the video but it did not support my baked smoke simulation. 


ANIMATION

The Stadium with Blinking Lights (camera's flashlight) and moving observers

Here, I use different Math nodes to create a change in emission intensity with a small tweak of randomness in their time between on and off

In this scene, I simply used the Build modifier of Blender to achieve the building-up effects. The same technique was used throughout the first scene where the harbor is constructed. Besides, scaffolders are animated so that it covers the messy build-up of the buildings.


TEXTURING

You may notice that textures of the grass and sand were not detailed enough, I wasn't satisfied with the results so I fixed it in the Habor Scene.

Here, I used the same technique that any game that revolves such kind of texturing. 

Due to the short amount of time given (1 week) and the fact that I was working alone, many of the buildings are free models from CGTrader.
However, all the textures for those buildings I did them myself. 
I also used some clips from my gameplay of Cities Skylines in order to make the video fit in with the length of the music chosen.
